This investigation is descriptive transversal. The objective was to describe the manifestations of intimate partner violence, emotional dependence and attitude toward violence against women, in mothers of students of the "Joaquín Fernández de Córdova" Basic General Education School of the Sinincay Parish. We worked with a universe of 220 women with an average age of 36.8 years, most of them housewives, with primary and secondary school level and with low income for the sustenance of the home. The following instruments were applied: "Index of Spouse Abuse" (ISA), "Emotional dependence questionnaire (CDE)" and the "Scale of attitudes toward violence against women in relationship." The data obtained were processed in the SPSS-23 program. Among the results obtained, it is worth noting that the majority of women experience psychological violence by their partner, followed by sexual violence. They are women with a level of emotional dependence that manifests itself with separation anxiety, fear of loneliness, affective expression and modification of plans. They present favorable and indifferent attitudes toward violence against women, which express themselves with acceptance of macho behavior, the imposition of the authority of their partners and the inequality in the performance of the roles of men and women.
