The present thesis work compiles the investigation accomplished about the traditional medicine of the communities of Caguanapamba and Sisid, in order to demostrate the different medicinal practices offered to tourists in order to consolidate as a potential tourist. Traditional medicine is considered as one of the ancestral works transmitted from generation to generation inside homes of families of Caguanapamba and Sisid. Through the rescue of these medicinal practices tourists can experience the direct contact with nature, the Pacha Mama and the indigenous worldvision of these communities. The tourist circuits proposed in these thesis have the purpose of promoting traditional medicine in the sacred places such as Culebrillas Lagoon and Coyoctor Archeological Complex. This proposal aims to offer the necessary interest on behalf of the tourist sector to potentiate the traditional medicine of the communities of Caguanapamba and Sisid, in addition it promotes the continuity of these medicinal practices and the development of indigenous communities.
