With the emergence of the internet, the creation of new virtual platform opened that keep everyone in touch worldwide. The presence in networks is increasingly necessary. Regardless of the commercial activity or the service they offer, all kinds of entities, such as educational establishments, that have to make use of these virtual windows to make themselves known and interact with their public.
In recent years, despite the fact that many educational institutions have shown greater interest in innovating their communication channels, and have incorporated a management of virtual media on the network, to maintain a better relationship with their public, it has been shown that they are very Few learning centers that give relevance to the presentation of the image they project on these pages and invest in a professional handling of these media. This is how the idea of incorporating Community Manager strategies in the “Sor Teresa Valsé” Educational Unit was born.
The purpose of this work is to improve the image that the educational center projects on its social networks and website. To achieve a good result, an investigation has been carried out on the most common shortcomings when managing these accounts and those expectations that allow meeting the desired goal. This intervention has made use of digital communication strategies that have tried to generate more dynamic environments to improve the user experience in the official channels of the institution.
