To potray a “sick city” is one of the characteristics in the Roberto Bolaño’s narrative. In his book 2666 Santa Teresa exposes this sickness, a city that doesnt stop transforming into a violent space. Death and deformation of the bodies, must of them are from females, turns into a breaking point. So, fear and horror spread out in Santa Teresa, converting this place in a conflictive one. Santa Teresa works as the critic potrait of Ciudad Juárez (México) and the violence that this city proyects. So, fear is the result of constant horror, wich remains in the body of the murdered women. Even more, the horror intensifies because the police shows no interest in these cases. Then, the space will be important for the signs of fear and horror that penetrate in the people that occupies Santa Teresa.
