The analysis of the manufacturing plant situation establishes the first stage for the proposal development because It is necessary to understand the teamwork conformation, the execution of the presented proposals by the collaborator’s initiative and the opportunity of a Kaizen Zone as a requirement of the Continuous Improvement from the SGI principle.
After that, through a pilot test in the Kaizen Zone at Zhucay (including training, workshops, and team work) we will determinate the functionality and the purpose of the area, tools, methodology and the creative process to
generate ideas. Moreover, we´ll formalize the registry of suggestions of improvement by establishing a link between the Kaizen Shops and a tool named “Plan de Sugerencias” which allows to set up a process that rules
presentation, execution, tracing, conclusion, and the recognition of ideas suggested by collaborators that generate these proposals.
Finally, we´ll evaluate the benefits reported for the implementation of the “Plan de Sugerencias” and the Kaizen Zone (carried out on a pilot test) as key element for the presentation of the "Propuesta de Centro de Innovación Kaizen Shops en la Planta de Indurama". It will be evident that with a correct use of these continuous improvement tools, the company will get a lot of proposals which imply permanent improvements in their processes and significant savings. To conclude, practical actions will be proposed to take advantages of
this tool, in order to generate the involvement of more areas and replicate the concepts in all the organization.
