dc.description.abstractBeing sustainability one of the fundamentals pillars in the hotel and tourist sector, hotels seek that tourists get involved and help in some way to minimize global warming, this graduation work will determine the situation presented by the Hotel Victoria with the respect to the current sustainable management, which causes an environmental impact to the city affecting its economy and society, for this purpose, actions will be applied based on the Rainforest Alliance Guide for Good Practices in its 2005 version and the Smart Voyager Standard, which provides parameters for social and environmental performance and aims to improve the way in which tourism activity relates to its business environment, in order to generate proposals that benefit the hotel, the society and the economy, turning it into a reference for other hotels that want to apply good sustainable management.
