dc.description.abstractThe term acne by Williams coined is a chronic disorder pilosebasea unit, but may occur at any stage of life is more common in puberty, and although it can be considered a benign process, is able to create psychological and severe in people who suffer for their ability to produce inflammatory lesions and scar sequels character, in this study social will take into account the most common acne is known that acne vulgaris or juvenile polymorph occur. As in its pathogenesis until now not known with certainty a definitive cause, rather several factors involved in its genesis such as alteration of keratinization in the excretory orifice of the sebaceous glands are indicated the action of microorganisms such as Propionibacterium acnes , staphylococcus epidermis and Pityrosporum ovale, increased sebaceous gland activity and other factors generic, emotional, food order. Despite that while these factors have been studied, the hormonal influence on sebaceous gland activity and especially androgens is under investigation, with those who have caused the most controversy. As there are conflicting studies have not demonstrated exactly markedly elevated androgens in acne patients, this study helps both the dermatologist and the general practitioner to deepen their knowledge on the pathogenesis and better prospects in polymorphous acne therapeutics youth
