Resumen
The purpose of this research and degree work is to propose a preliminary project that allows the readability of areas considered residual, capable of providing quality spaces for informal vendors, with the purpose of regulating, ordering and controlling this type of activity, as well as recovering and improving the quality of public spaces near the "Gran Colombia" market.
For this, through a historical and theoretical analysis of informal commerce, the evolution, concepts and legal framework that welcomes this activity in the city and country is recognized, as well as determining its causes and consequences in the urban environment. Subsequently, a diagnosis was made to the informal vendor and residual spaces, assessing the needs of the vendors and identifying the residual spaces in the immediate context of the "Gran Colombia" market.
The research is complemented through the urban analysis of the "Gran Colombia" sector, taking into consideration fundamental elements of mobility, historical background, land use, among others.
Finally, a blueprint for intervention is proposed in 5 immediate areas of the "Gran Colombia" market, complemented by banks and stations designed specifically for sellers, with the ability to provide a regularized space for informal commerce, free of persecution, fostering and strengthening the small producer's trade.
