The Ministry of Educationthrough the neweducation management modelproposesstandards thathelp guide, support and monitorthe workof the actors init, for continuousimprovement;renewingsystematizingprocesses andprocedures.However,despite thechanges,knowwhether psychologistsand counselorshave been fullyadjusted tothe proposed changesbythe respectiveregulations;well aspermanent adjustmentsto be implementedin educationalinstitutions forthe development oftechniques, toolsand standardelements proposedapplied research.
This research workisto analyzethe technical andpsychological assessment instrumentsused inthe Departmentsof StudentMinistry ofthe provinceofAzuay,forthe use andimportance toeducationalpsychologistsand counselors; thus establishingthe differencesbetween the idealtheoretical modeland processes usedbypsychologistscounselorsin educational institutions. To achievethis objective, asurveystudy was conductedbypsychologists fromdifferenteducational institutionsof the provinceofAzuay, proceeding to interpret the resultsusing graphs andanalysis ofeach. According to theresults it cameto the general conclusion.
