Abstract

This thesis approaches the electric bass’s playing techniques called slap and ghost notes from the study of bibliographic sources and personal practical experience to develop an educational guide and an educative video aimed at intermediate and advanced level electric bass students There are a total of eighteen technical elements addressed in this research, for which progressive technical exercises and musical patterns for solo and comping bass lines have been built.
