Resumen
This monographic work demonstrates bibliographically the contributions of the implementation of
classroom projects in the area of Natural Sciences in the basic middle education, it is framed within
education, more specifically in the didactics of Natural Sciences. In any educational process, the use of
didactic strategies as a support methodology to facilitate the teaching process is paramount. Currently
in the area of Natural Sciences, in some cases, traditionalist methodologies are still used that
decontextualize children's learning with their reality. Faced with the above, it seeks to solve the problem
so the following questions are raised: How do classroom projects contribute to the teaching of Natural
Sciences in the basic middle education?, What are classroom projects?, What is the teaching of Natural
Sciences?, What are the aspects that favor the implementation of classroom projects for the teaching of
Natural Sciences in the basic middle education?.
Classroom projects for the teaching of Natural Sciences in the basic constitute a methodological strategy
that represents important contributions to the process of teaching this science: It allows students to be
the protagonist of their learning by looking for solutions to problems in their context; increases their
autonomy, creativity, motivation, responsibility and development of skills and abilities; facilitating the
understanding of natural phenomena and processes. It is concluded that this methodology facilitates the
student's understanding of natural phenomena and processes and their development in society.
The field of research was the process of teaching learning of the Natural Sciences. For this monographic
work, an investigation was carried out based on a bibliographic review, which allowed an analysis of
the proposed variables and the extraction of the most relevant information on the subject.
