Impacto de las redes de comunicación virtual en los hogares de los estudiantes de la Universidad de Cuenca

Abstract

This research presents some results generated virtual social networks inherently in the homes of students from the University of Cuenca. From the income of the internet in our societies, we have lived simultaneously in two parallel and different worlds. A world "online", which puts us in front of a screen for hours. On the other hand, we have a normal life "off line" that very slowly seems to be losing the dialogue and interaction.

Continued use of virtual social networks, has generated positive and negative changes in the social and academic life of university students; practically, the social environment of young people has been damaged, leaving out many of the activities previously performed with family and friends.
