| dc.description.abstract | This technical Project proposes: To design a tourist route of the Primicias of Riobamba city, Chimborazo province. Thirteen interest sites (Primicias) were identified. The study comprised three stages: the first one was the bibliographic and documentary review; obtaining information about thirteen important events such as: the scientist Pedro Vicente Maldonado, The Cathedral church, Fist constitution meeting, Bellavista neighborhood, Olympic stadium, Centro Deportivo Olmedo soccer team, El Prado radio broadcasting station National Farming fare, women’s insurgency, Braille printing organization, living testimony “ultimo Hielero”, “Ceviche de chochos” contemporary gastronomy, according to the interpretative features they are considered primicias, second was an analysis of the resources in this case the Primicias, that have interpretative traits such as: reason for creation, historical and cultural content, scenic beauty and impact. At the National level, the index of the interpretative potential of each primicia where established. where a primicia of a very high rank was obtained according to the score, a, nine primicias of high rank, three primicias of medium high rank, and the demand for cultural tourism was characterized by a universe of 95.800 tourist arriving at the Chimborazo fauna production reserve and from there a sample was obtained to carry the surveys; it was found that 91% agree to know the route of the primicias, being men and women who are between 36 and 45 years old, 40.85% can be public employees, private and independent and they can pay $10 dollars for the service, the third was to design the route according to the geographical location, it will start at the Guayaquil park and it will culminate at Sucre park, A one day itinerary was established including all the activities and sites to be visited with an specific order. Furthermore, the tourist services associated with the primicias were enrolled.
