Resumen
The purpose of this technical work was the design of an Occupational Health and Safety
Management System for the company Orientoil S.A. based on ISO 45001: 2018, a company
dedicated to the administration of activities related to the service of transport of heavy cargo for
oil services to national level, the same that has several workers who provide their services in this
organization, which were exposed to risks and hazards and were prone to accidents and incidents,
For this purpose, descriptive research and a quantitative and qualitative risk assessment was
carried out, which determines the requirements for the design of an occupational health and safety
management system with the main purpose of providing safe and healthy working conditions,
improving the performance of workers and improving the health of both contractors and visitors
to the organization. Before the risk assessment, the company's level of compliance with the
requirements and documentation of the ISO 45001-2018 standard was determined, with 55% total
compliance, 36% partial compliance, and 9% non-compliance. Additionally, an occupational
health and safety risk assessment was carried out based on the GTC-45 matrix, determining that
the most conflictive work area is the Technical Operational Department, as it is prone to various
accidents such as being run over by vehicles, overloads, and different types of fatigue, for which
an occupational health and safety plan was drawn up describing the different preventive and
corrective measures for each impact determined. In addition, the occupational health and safety
manual was developed, which is made up of 10 chapters, 11 procedures, and 16 registers that
complement the documentation developed for the company.
