Resumen
This thesis focuses in the creation of a lodge and Reception Center in San Isidro district, Macas canton belonging to Morona Santiago province in order to provide services as hosting restaurant, and reception lounge. During the project development there where different research methodologies which were followed to make possible to gather accurate and timely background information to carry out the market study whose outcomes showed the rate of unmet demand regarding to the hosting service provided by lodging houses. In order to get information coming from the technical study; it was determined optimal size of the project, which is subject to the facilities as well as their capacity when providing various service to tourists, such as accommodation, restaurant and reception lounge in order to meet the tourists, expectations. Then economic- financial study was the basis to determine that the investment capital required to the creation of the lodging house and reception lounge totals $ 342737,04 from which a 67,90% is funded while 32,10% comes from equity capital, according to the financial evaluation it was valeted the feasibility of the project since the resulting indicators showed values such as NPV (Net Present Value) $141445,75, IRR (Internal Rate of Return) 25%, Benefit–Cost $2,41 and IRP (Investment Recovery Period) 4 years, 11 months and 12 days, drawing as conclusion the project is feasible. It was established that the organization will work under the corporate name “HOSTERIA SAN SIDRO S.A.”. The outcomes shed provide evidence of the feasibility of this project becoming a significant support to the social and business development of Ecuador.
