Resumen
The present research work proposed: Obtain regrowth of different width and basal cutting arch of Eucalyptus urograndis, in the Treasury “Los Angeles”, Buena Fe Canton, Los Ríos Province; it was selected thirty trees with the best phenotypical characteristics like: Commercial height, DAP (Diameter at Breast Height), angle, thickness of the branch, shaft quality and phytosanitary, according to the method proposed in this research, the punctuation of the selected tress were outstanding in comparison to the surroundings, whereby they were categorized as plus trees. For obtaining of the regrowths, it was applied three treatments, it proportions were: T1 (Arch: 25, Width: 15 cm), T2 (Arch: 30, Width: 20 cm), and T3 (Arch: 35, Width: 25 cm). During the development of the regrowths, it was evaluated the height growth and DAC (Diameter at Neck Height), the development of the number of leaves and number of branches of the respective experimental units in order to determine the vigorousness of the. It was made a counting of the re-growths obtained from each tree according the treatment, dead regrowths and viable regrowths, which take advantage for cloning of this specie. According to the analysis made, it was obtained that the treatment 3 generates a greater amount of regrowths per experimental unit, also a lower mortality and more feasibility of them, therefore is the most indicated to execute it in future investigations; in terms of vigorousness analysis it was obtained that any variable was meaningful between the treatment applied, so it is objected that the vigor is not related to the dimension of the cut, but base on the averages obtained it was determined that the treatment 3 generated more development. Development is a factor that can be linked to the genetics of the species and the environment.
