Resumen
The general objective of the present research was the Implementation of Safety and Radiological Protection Standards, in the bunker of the Laboratory of Nuclear Techniques according to international standards, in the Faculty of Sciences. In order to implement the radiological safety standards, the rate of environmental equivalent dose of the bunker had to be determined, since a radiation emitting source is found in this facility, for this, environmental dose values were taken at points near to the source. In addition, the calculation of shielding to the radioactive source was carried out with the method of Maximum Project Dose Rate (RDMP), for the radioactive isotopes with greater activity that make up the radioactive stone. As a result, it was obtained that the shield should have a thickness of 4.52cm in lead (Pb), to comply with the dose limits recommended by the IAEA. Also, a safety manual for the bunker was elaborated, which seeks to initiate the authorization of the same, in this one, dose limits, signaling, identification of controlled and supervised areas, among others, are specified. Finally, it is recommended that the source should be inside the container with the measures given in the Titling Work and that the manual should be available to all the polytechnic personnel.
