dc.description.abstractSince the middle of the last century, the repercussions that the management of companies have on society, the economy and the environment; they have traced the course of social responsibility. This work has deepened the findings of several authors and important international organizations dedicated to guiding the planet towards a global awareness of sustainable management in all areas. It also analyzes the criteria and guidelines issued by the existing regulations that shape the legal and referential framework of sustainable management in the world in general and in the city of Quito in particular.
