Resumen
The present research project is the elaboration of a tourism marketing Plan for the Penipe canton Province of Chimborazo, period 2017, iIt was carried out with the purpose of promoting the Penipe canton as an ideal destination and through strategies of the Web 3.0 to disseminate the tourist attractions. The modality used is qualitative since an interview was conducted both the Mayoress of the canton and the Jead of the tourist department. And the quantitative method by means offield research through surveys of the economically active population of the Riobamba canton. The data obtained after being analyzed and interpreted allowed to establish the following findings: there is a low flow of tourists due to the scarce promotion, tourists if they like to visit the Penipe canton forthe accomplishment of different activities like extreme sports, gastronomy but there are
no agencies and trained staff, the implementation of a tourism marketing plan will be overriding in the tourist development of the canton, the target also considers important the diffusion and promotion of the canton through the Web 3.0. The proposal of the marketing plan contains the elaboration of strategies such as: brand redesign, web page development, social media advertising and photographs of 360 °. It is recommended to
apply the proposed proposal as it will strengthen tourism in the canton.
