Resumen
At the present time our country is in a process of educational revolution, so that the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) being part of the Polytechnic School of Chimborazo (ESPOCH) is forced to innovate their methods of Management and control. To maximize the performance on the resources of the Institution was the need to implement the Balanced Scorecard in the School of Engineering in Transportation Management. For the development of this research was necessary to analyze the different theories and schools about organizations and their management. It is evident the evolution of business theories from its origins to the present time. School and administrative theories that were analyzed were: Classical School. The current Human Relationships, the Neoclassical school and the contingential situational theory. The methodology used in the research was based on ten sequential footsteps developed in a comprehensive way in order to get the best results. The tools needs to implement the Balanced Scorecard in the School of Engineering in Transportation Management were: diagnostic software (SISTRAT), strategic map (DC SMAP.xls), Matrix control panel and software control panel (ODUN). Finally the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard is a methodology of continuous learning, which will identify problems and timely solutions to obtain the desired results.
