Resumen
This research was based on the development of the design and implementation of a sensor network using the 802.15.4 standard with the waspmote platform and the control trough fuzzy logic allowing the production optimization in an agricultural crop in Riobamba city-Chimborazo Province. According to the report of the Central Bank in June 2016, it is indicated that the volume of agricultural production will grow by 1% which allows concluding that the yield per hectare remains unchanged; without forgetting that the agricultural sector is of crucial importance for the economy of the country. In order to achieve production optimization through technological innovation and the implementation of control by fuzzy logic for the variables of temperature and soil moisture, fuzzy rules were established without any mathematical model. The research was experimental and the cross-sectional design since it depended on two concepts, referring to technology and cultivation techniques. Applying a series of techniques and instruments for data collection, such as review of technical manuals, survey, and reading of sensors. For the development of the application, several technologies were used, such as X-CTU software for configuring the communication of the gateway and the final nodes, the IDE PRO Waspmote programming language similar to C ++ for the programming of the capture data by means of the sensors, the LabView software system for the fuzzy control development . In this way, it is concluded that the implementation of the new system through the control of fuzzy logic generated energy efficiency and cost reduction making a more efficient system.
