Resumen
The methodological process carried out for the design of a conveyor system and automatic feed doser for the milking of dairy cattle to be used in Estación experimental Tunshi of ESPOCH, through the analysis of several factors that led to a response from design and implementation. It was carried out a detailed analysis of the case study where each of the manual functions of transport and feed doser related with the milk production were observed. In order to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the balance feed that is conventionally used in food and take them as a reference for the approach of this work, then a theoretical analysis is proposed that supports the research process and finally the analysis of automated transport and dosing system of the food by means of typologies that facilitated the realization of formal alternatives to support the milking process for dairy production. The conveyor and feed doser contains a resistant metallic structure. In addition, this system has a source of energy generation from the beginning to the end of the process. This system contains inside a conveyor belt with buckets, which through its longitudinal movement will be responsible for transporting the food from the storage room of feed balanced to each of the endless screws, so that with its rotation movement fill each one of the four hoppers receiving food. The receiving hoppers are those that contain the feed balance that at the moment of entering the cattle to each one of the ordering cages are activated automatically, allowing the food to be filled in the feeders and thus allowing the cattle to feed with tranquility at the same time that proceeds to milking process. This food is provided automatically with an average feed percentage based on average milk production. Among the advantages of the implemented system, are the significant saving of time in the transportation process and dosing of the food in each of the cages. Furthermore, to a considerable economic saving within the feeding to cattle, since it is reduced the amount of food that cattle eat in each milking.
