Resumen
Automation of the friction and wear machine of crossed cylinders was carried out. For the development of the project, the NI myRIO 1900 data acquisition card technology and LabVIEW software were used, as well as a remote infrared temperature sensor MLX90614 for which a serial connection was made through an Arduino UNO and the UART connection of the NI myRIO 1900 card, as well as a digital comparator watch was used to obtain data on the wear of the test tube, which will be captured by a Webcam in such a way that the data of the comparator clock can be visualized by means of the N I myRIO 1900 card. For the automatic control of the machine, the method of connecting two cables of the frequency inverter together with the relay modules MD-278 and the NI myRIO 1900 card was used to control the parameters of ignition, shutdown, reversal of rotation and multi-speed. Once these connections were made with the NI MyRIO 1900 card, it was proceeded with its respective programming by means of the LabVIEW software and with the readings obtained, the parametrization and the conditioning of the signals were made to an easy-to-read presentation, with the purpose of monitor the signal behavior and perform automatic control of the machine from the PC, in addition to generating an automatic report of data at the end of the trial. After the tests carried out for the operation, it can be concluded that the automation carried out meets the expectations, with a visualization of the data in real time, a control of efficient parameters to perform the test and a report of the data obtained, as well as It is recommended to have knowledge of LabVIEW software and the user manual of the machine.
