Resumen
The aim of the present research work is based on the elaboration of an active model dispensation for gastric protectors and antibiotics, with the purpose of identifying the most consumed drugs in the institution, it was done a review of the medical records of the outpatients that were attended during the second semester in the year 2016. For the elaboration and validation of the questionnaire that evaluated the dispensing in the pharmacy, interviews were carried out with 30 patients, and with the data obtained it was analyzed a factorial research. The model of active dispensation was designed based on six aspects for the administration of medications: identification of the patient; indication of treatment; prescribed dose; pattern; duration of treatment and recommendations. To verify the functionality of the active dispensation model, the validated survey before and after the dispensation model based on pictograms was applied. As a result, it was found that antibiotics and gastric protectors accounted for 32% of total drug consumption. In the elaboration and validation of the questionnaire the two components that made up the problem were the communication with the pharmaceutical biochemist and the understanding of the indications with a reliability of 0.764 according to Cronbach's alpha. In the sociodemographic analysis, the majority of patients belong to the older age group 49%, primary study 49% and patients with “Kichwa” language 37%, fundamental characteristics for the elaboration of the model based on pictograms. Finally, its functionality was verified by applying the survey to 179 patients before and after applying the model. It was found that there is no correlation in the variables that make up the problem of communication with the pharmaceutical biochemist equal to 0.035 and the understanding of the indications equal to 0.024. values lower than 0.85 according to the Pearson correlation. It is recommended the implementation of the model to “Buen Samaritano Paúl Martel Internatinal Fundation” (FIBUSPAM) patients of and that in further models drugs that can be elaborated in order to help patients in their health recovery.
