This study focuses on developing a formulation and physical-chemical characterization of an emulsifiable disperse system based on Olea europaea, Butyrospermum parkii and Cucurbita ficifolia for Omegalab microenterprise, intended for people with atopic skin. This research started with the extraction of oils of sambo seeds (Cucurbita ficifolia) by means of cold pressing, carrying out quality tests such as yield, density, pH, acidity and peroxide determination. Next, the emulsifying mixture more in line with the formulation was determined, which was selected according to the toxicity of the surfactants; then a formulation design was implemented in ProSim software, the percentages were established by applying a ternary diagram, obtaining a total of 27 formulations. The formulations were discarded according to the results obtained in the physicochemical tests, determining that the best formulation was within the following ranges: olive oil 0.45% - 1.8%, sambo oil 0.45% - 1.8% and shea butter 5.4% - 8.1% complementing the physical chemical and microbiological analysis which complies with the specifications according to current regulations, determining that a formulation elaborated with natural active ingredients presents a lower risk of irritation, complying with the tests required by the regulations guaranteeing its innocuousness for its commercialization; finally, in vivo studies are recommended in order to verify its effectiveness.
