Determinación de la calidad de agua mediante indicadores físicos, químicos y biológicos en los bofedales de la Reserva de Producción de Fauna Chimborazo.

Abstract

The present investigation proposes: to determine the quality of water through the use of physical, chemical and biological parameters in the bofedales of the Chimborazo Fauna Production Reserve; for which an inventory of macroinvertebrates was made of each of the bofedales studied where they were collected through a Surber network and direct capture, 4138 individuals distributed in 21 families, the most abundant being the Hyalellídae and Limnephilidae families, the same as they belong to the trophic group of fragmenters and that show a high agricultural and livestock activity very close to the bofedal. Subsequently, the analysis of the physical and chemical parameters was carried out based on the results obtained from the Environmental Analytical Laboratory Water-Industrial Effluents LASA, and compared with the criteria of water quality given by the MAE (2015) in its TULSMA document for human consumption, agricultural and livestock use, and wildlife conservation, which showed that all the parameters analyzed are within the quality criteria except the data of DB05 and COD in most of the bofedales, the physical parameters were also analyzed and chemicals through the ICA-NFS (1970) with the Delphi method and through the online "Calculator" system of the Water Research Center, developed by Oram (2015), where the water quality of the bofedales was obtained the same as They presented from a range of GOOD to EXCELLENT quality. Finally, water quality was analyzed using the Biological Indices: EPT, BMWP/Col, ABI/ Ecuador and Index adapted to the RPFCH bofedales, where a water quality was obtained that ranges from a Very Bad / Critical range in the Coop bofedales. Santa Teresita BNI and Cruz del Arenal BNI an Excellent only in the bofedal of AL Culebrillas.
