Resumen
The objective of the following invetigation was to verify the anxiolytic actitity of Peperomia peltigera C.DC., in vivo in Mus musculus mice. Th plant material was collected, dried and macerated with 70% etanol and subsequently lyphilized. Secondary metabolites such as alkalioids, sugars, triterpenes, steroids, saponinas, flavonoids, bitter compounds and phenolic compounds werw idntified qualitatively by phytochemical screening. The total phenold and flavonoids were quantified giving 16,33mg Quercetin Equivalents/g lyopphilized extract and 14,53mg Galic acid Equivalents/g lyopphilized extract. To evaluate the anxiolytic activity it was used 42 mice with 28-32g of weight, which werw groped according to the different treatments to be administered (extracts at 25, 50, 100, 200, 300mg/kg), 15% propylene glicol as target and Clonazepam as a positive control. It was used 3 electronic equipment “Labyrinth elevated cross, ling-dark room and open field”. Which it has a video camera and applications with the name of Itopi for the teams of Labyrinth elevated cross and ling-dark room also Emis for the and open field team. The results analyzed estatistically, it cam be concluded that all the doce with outstanding results was 25mg/kg. Further analysis is recommended to check this anxiolytic effect.
