Resumen
This research work deals with the design and implementation of the Comprehensive Institutional Risk Management Plan for the school of Industrial Engineering of the Faculty of Mechanics at ESPOCH. The threats and vulnerabilities present in the school were analyzed through the Integral Risk Management Model proposed by the National Secretariat for Risk Management. In the current situation, the vulnerabilities were determined through a checklist, establishing requirements for safety signage, defense resources against fires, first aid kits, risk maps and Early Warning System. The risk factors were identified and evaluated under the INSHT Labor Risk Identification and Assessment Method. The Simplified Meseri Method was used to assess the Fire Risk of the School. The industrial safety signage was implemented through the NTE INEN 3864-1 standard, the risk maps according to UNE 23032: 2015 standard, portable fire extinguishers with the Fire Prevention, Mitigation and Protection Regulations and NFPA 10 (Portable Fire Extinguishers), the Early Warning System under NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm Codes) and First Aid Kits through Regulation for the Operation of the Medical Services of Companies. In conclusion, the level of risk of threat of 56% generated by earthquakes, fires and volcanic eruptions, average fire risk according to Meseri carried out per building and risk factors with moderate estimation according to INSHT was determined, it is recommended to carry out the monitoring and evaluation through training and simulations of the PIGR.
