Propuesta para optimizar el funcionamiento de la bodega de la farmacia del Hospital Andino Alternativo de Chimborazo, según las buenas prácticas de almacenamiento, distribución y transporte del ministerio de salud pública del Ecuador.

Abstract

The objective of the present titration work was to elaborate a proposal to implement the BPADT of medicines and medical supplies, guaranteeing the quality of the products and the safety of the patients, for which it was necessary to obtain the baseline of the investigation using the method of descriptive-observational analysis, collecting the information of the initial state of the pharmacy through direct observation by applying the checklist and determining the actual conditions of storage, additionally a survey was made to the staff in order to obtain from their knowledge and experience the information about the procedures carried out in the area: with the results obtained in the checklist and the survey a non-compliance with the regulations of 72% was observed about the processes carried out in the area of storage because they do not have the registered documents of the activities, besides a staff was found that does not abide by the rules in a 64% represented by a staff without uniform, not qualified and trained. With the evaluation and intervention on the deficiencies found and based on their resources, a proposal for improvement was proposed; personnel, infrastructure, equipment, materials, processes, and documents that will optimize the operation of the storage warehouse of pharmaceutical products of HAR and comply with the regulations established by the MSP of Ecuador.
