Resumen
The objective of the research was the implementation of simulations with easy java simulations (EJS) and its incidence in the academic performance of the students of Mathematical Analysis III of the Faculty of Mechanics of the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo. In order to fulfill this objective, descriptive theoretical research of transversal cut was carried out in a first moment, it was tried to detail those variables involved in the teaching and learning processes that students develop to pass the subject of analysis III, as well as the difficulties that they have in it, to structure the guide of use of the easy java simulations. Subsequently, a practical approach to the subject was carried out through a process of validation of contents developed by the teachers who teach the subject of Mathematical Analysis III, in order to determine the adequacy, clarity and pertinence of the analytical contents of the guide. On the other hand, this is mixed research, since both qualitative and quantitative methodologies were used for the validation of the instrument. The developed proposal allows us to obtain a theoretical-practical approach, identifying those elements that can be useful and contribute to both the teacher and the student in the process of teaching and learning mathematics through easy java simulations. To conclude, we found that there are significant differences between both groups, that is to say, the implementation of the Easy Java Simulations Software in the teaching-learning process of Mathematical Analysis III has a positive influence on the academic performance of the students of the Faculty of Mechanics, School of Maintenance Engineering.
