Resumen
The purpose of the degree work was to develop the safe school path through a technical study, so, student appear autonomous and safe mobility towards the Federico Gonzalez Suàrez School; this proposal was made with research tools such as surveys and datasheets to check the diagnosis the current situation of the road infrastructure in the study routes. Four routes were analyzed, the type of sidewalk pavement is concrete, the tread is paved, and the stone pavement is in good condition; concerning vertical signage, it is not enough, but the existing ones are in good condition and well located; horizontal signaling at 530m in length there is no lane separation and 470m of these signals are blurred, of the 59 crossings involved in our study routes, 56 intersections do not have crosswalk signaling, and there are only 3 crossings with their respective signal; most of the students live near the school since the time it takes them to arrive, is between 1 min o and 20 min. It was concluded that the road infrastructure around the 3 Blocks of de Federico Gonzàlez Suàrez School lacks a strict regulatory application, a large part of sidewalks does not exceed 1.00m wide, and in each intersection, there are no ramps; the lane separation lines are mostly blurred and in some sections, it is no longer visible, in 90% the intersections don not have a sidewalk signal, of the total of the vertical signals involved in the study there is only 80%, and the highlights are only elevations of the sand layer. Under the current situation, it is proposed to extend 1 380m of sidewalk to 1.20m, and 620 m to extend to 1.80 m with their respective ramps at each intersection, vehicular ramps must not exceed 30% slope and their width is 0.55m, on sidewalk paths that have longitudinal slopes, build ramps with safety curbs, the slope must not exceed 8%; in 780m it is exposed to change the direction of double track to a single one. The competent authorities in the field of transport are recommended to perform the respective corrective and preventive maintenance of vertical and horizontal signaling.
