Resumen
The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between Quality of life and Lipid profile in diabetic patients with excess weight from the House of the Diabetic - Tena 2017. The population consisted of 65 diabetic patients with a body mass index (BMI) > 25 Kg / m2 between the ages of 18 and 65 who went to the outpatient clinic of this health center. In the study, it was observed that the quality of life has influence over the lipid profile, being found in subjects with higher quality of triglycerides life with values (221.87 ± 147.9) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) with values (38.00 ±14.99), as well as in subjects with lower quality of triglycerides life with values (156.80 ± 38.59) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) with values (38.50 ± 9.30). Where lipid abnormalities in the group with the lowest quality of life were lowest in relation to those with the highest quality of life. Among the variables that are related to observe these results are: body mass index (BMI), age of the subject and the lead time bias. The results obtained are of great importance since through this research, information is provided for future implementation of programs that promote and monitor the improvement of the quality of life in those who have diabetes.
