Resumen
The desing of a stretegic tourism marketing plan to position Patate Canton consistsin the creation of a project that encourage people to develop tourist activities causing income sources that gives dynamism to the economy of the canton. For which this research was base don the formulation of surveys stratified to people who make up the Economically Active Population (PEA) of Baños city, and a SWOT analysis to determine the current situation of the tourism sector of the canton. The main problema of the canton is, it has tourist attractions thet have not been revealed due to lack of knowledge and information, as well as the most visited tourist attraction in the canton Patate – La iglesia del Señor del Terremoto -. The cant9on thet stand out for its goodness is Baños. In conclusión through this strategic plan of tourism marketing the tourism departamento of GADM Patate can plan, manage, analyze, and offer its tourist attaction to satisfy all our actual and potential tourist. It is recommended to implement the proposed atrategies in a continous way. It is only a model to follow, subject to any changes thet are considered relevant.
