The present investigation proposes to evaluate the effect of nutritional solutions and application frequencies on the growth of Cedrelinga cateniformis Duke (Chuncho), under plant nursery conditions in Santa Cecilia parish, Lago Agrio canton of Sucumbíos province; using the following nutritive solutions: 0.5 gr/l Ammonium nitrate, 1 gr/l Ammonium nitrate, 1.5 gr/l Ammonium nitrate, 0.25 gr/l Diammonium phosphate, 0.75 gr/l Diammonium phosphate 1 gr/l Diammonium phosphate with application frequencies of every 3, 6 and 9 days each one. It was applied the complete random experimental design with three repetitions, which ones when they were combined gave a result of 19 treatments including the absolute control. The experiment was evaluated every 15, 30, 60, and 90 days after the application of nutritional solutions, taking into account the following measurement parameters: diameter (mm), number of leaves and height of plants (cm). Resulting as best treatment for stem diameter the T15 - A3F3 (1.5 g/l Ammonium nitrate - every 9 days), for the number of leaves the best treatment was T12 - A6F2 (1gr/l Diammonium Phosphate - every 6 days), while for the height of the plants the best treatment was T1 – A1F1 (0.5 gr/l Ammonium nitrate - every 3 days).Making the cost analysis for the treatments that were applied nutritional solution, the treatment with the lowest cost per plant was the T1 (0.5 g/1 Ammonium nitrate- every 3 days), with a value of USD 0.28, compared to the absolute control (without any treatment ), which obtained a value of USD 0.42 per plant. Keywords: APPLICATION FREQUENCY- NUTRITIONAL SOLUTION- GROWTH OF PLANTS.
