Resumen
The purpose of this work is to analyze the impact on the use of Web 2.0 resources in free software as didactic resources in improving the academic performance of students. The method applied is the experimental one, allowing to check the level of learning in children when applying a mathematical reasoning test, a hypothesis test of two independent samples will be applied with verification of equal variances, which uses a distribution F and t- student for hypothesis testing. The research was conducted with seventh grade students forming two test groups, the first group did not apply the software tools and the second group the software tools, 69 students for each group. Once the digital resources have been analyzed, selected and applied to the corresponding group, the mathematical reasoning test is applied, identifying in the first group that the highest percentage of students reach the required learning 39.13%, followed by those who are next to reach the learning 36.23% and 24.64% dominate the required learning, 63.77% of students pass the mathematical reasoning test. For the second group it shows that the highest percentage of students dominate the required learning 47.83%, followed by those who reach the learning 37.68% and 14.64% are close to achieving the learning, 85.51% of students pass the mathematical reasoning test, showing that students by using web 2.0 tools improve their academic performance. Concluding that the use of technology promotes a strengthening in the educational field, providing teachers with an active, motivational and critical methodology offering students a support tool that allows them to be protagonists in their meaningful learning.
