dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research work is to design a bioreactor for obtaining organic compost using solid waste from guinea pig manure and blackberry leaves. As a first step, samples of guinea pig manure were obtained in the city of Riobamba, a physical-chemical analysis was carried out on the samples to determine the best composition in terms of the C / N ratio, for the blackberry leaves C / N = 11, 64; guinea pig manure C / N = 11.61; mountain microorganism C / N = 11.69, the latter as an additional contribution in the investigation to verify the effectiveness in the mineral enrichment of organic compost. three defined compositions were made: A, B, C; that helped to monitor and control variables such as temperature, pH, humidity, and aeration throughout the composting process for three months. Based on the variables obtained, the equipment was sizing with the following specifications: cylinder with a capacity of 578.5 L of stainless steel with dimensions: length = 244 cm, width = 122 cm and thickness = 2 mm; with 20 16mm perforations for the air passage, this will be located on a container of dimensions: length = 120 cm, width = 50 cm and a height of 20 cm with 4 wheels that will allow the uniform turning off a load of organic material, It will rotate with the help of a one HP motor with an I = 60-30 rpm with a pulley and single-channel type B belt, for homogeneous aeration and humidification. Finally, the results of the physical-chemical analysis of the product obtained for the C / N ratio in A: C / N = 11.64; B: C / N = 11.66; C: C / N = 11.57; According to the Chilean standard NCh2880 class A compost was obtained. In conclusion, the compost can be used for the enrichment of native crops of smaller size.
