Resumen
The objective of the present work of qualification was the design of a virtual limestone crushing plant together with its preventive maintenance plan and its subsequent dissemination through a website, obtaining a didactic tool for teaching the maintenance and operation of this type of plants. For the development of the design of the virtual plant it was applied a methodology based on three phases: analytical, creative and of execution. During the first stage was carried out the collection of information for the design of the virtual plant; mechanical design software was selected, which was Autodesk Inventor; the different methods for developing maintenance plans were researched by choosing the task bench maintenance protocol. In the second stage, the systems for the virtual plant were designed in conjunction with their animation, exploded view and technical drawings; the preventive maintenance plan was also developed through the following aspects: technical inventory, inventory coding, technical sheets, tasks with their maintenance frequencies and maintenance logistics. In the last stage, the publication of the virtual plant was carried out creating a website, which was managed by a content management system that allowed the design of the interface of the site, storage, linking and visualization of the virtual plant in conjunction with its maintenance plan. Through the implementation of surveys, it was obtained that the website of the virtual limestone crushing plant increased the level of knowledge in maintenance engineering students from 12% to 89%. It is concluded that the design of the virtual crushing plant in conjunction with its preventive maintenance plan is a didactic tool for learning. It is recommended to develop other virtual models with an educational focus on Industrial Maintenance Engineering.
