Resumen
The improvement of a pneumatic module was carried out whose cylinders of simple and double effect worked clearly with the activation and deactivation of electrical and electropneumatic elements. In the first instance, pneumatic elements were integrated into monostable presentations, and they work with muscular, mechanical and air force drives, which is the case of push buttons, limit switches, and power valves respectively. For the design of pneumatic circuits an intuitive method was used, taking characteristics of the resolution methods of sequential cascade circuits, step by step and state tables. The method used allows to design the circuits based on the description of the operation of the system, establishing the necessary elements and the conditions that must be presented for the development or execution of the established stages, simplifying the process by obtaining equations for each activation state, and deactivating the actuators. By working exclusively with purely pneumatic elements, it was possible to obtain the maximum the advantages of the use of compressed air for exemplification, practice and application in industrial processes and thus fulfilling the objective of the improvement maintenance, which indicates that the intrinsic characteristics of the assets can be improved generating a positive change when modifying, replacing zar, redesign elements of the system, without changing the main function thereof, and providing reliability, security or maintainability characteristics. It is recommended for future applications to integrate the simultaneous use of purely pneumatic, electrical and electro-pneumatic elements to increase the capacity of the pneumatics bank in the development and exemplification of real processes in industries.
