Resumen
The research´s objective was stating if hypoalbuminemia is a protein caloric malnutrition in patients who have got chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis treatment, under 40 up to 60 years in DIALYSEN clinic. This research is a transversal and retrospective design through inductive, analytic and systemic methods upon a qualitative and quantitative focus. Along this study the sample taken was from 80 patients suffering chronic kidney disease in both sexes where it was evaluated body complexity through bioimpedency, subjective global valuation (VGS) and lab test (albumin values). After a correlational and descriptive analysis it was found that there is a relationship between the biochemical parameters (albumin) within the body complexity, fat mass and lean mass where it was found a relationship statistically meaningful of (p<0,05) and (p<0,04) respectively with the hipo albumin in patients with this disease, showing in this way that, hypoalbuminemia should be considered as a protein caloric malnutrition predicting score reason given that it must be increased nutritional education in patients as well as the eating under high biologic proteins and calories contents for avoiding that malnutrition condition. It is concluded that hypoalbuminemia in patients with chronic kidney disease under a hemodialysis is a protein caloric malnutrition, being in this way, a useful in order to value the patients nutritional status, taking into account that it must be used in an isolated way as an evaluation parameter.
