dc.description.abstract | The objetive of the titling work was the implementation of a system for counting colony forming units and calculation of the sensitivity área in antibiograms of our bacterials, being an easy to use system, of moderate cost and thar saves the specialist’s time when performing tests manually, it is made up of 3 parts, imagen acquisition and acquisitio with appropriate conditions, image processing, detection and calculation of the required variables through an algorithm based on artificial vision techniques and presentation of results by means o fan understandable graphic interface, the system was tasted in more tan 80 containers, 40 couniting and 40 antibiograms, also on images downloaded from the internet where values similar to manual measurements were obtained, with an error of 1.26 % in the case of tests of count and 4.1% in calculation of sensitivity, giving a degree of confidence of 95% with respect to the manual process at the time, it is worth mentioning that the system worked in varible environmental conditions and subject to changes in requirements to improve measurements, behaving appropriately in most of the acquired images, causing the availability of machines for bacterial growth. | |
