Resumen
The general objective of the research was to develop marketing strategies for the trader EP PETROECUADOR in the Chimborazo province. The methodology used was qualitative-quantitative, as it helped us to understand the need to design marketing strategies that will strengthen and improve customer service. With the application of the qualitative analysis it was possible to interpret and understand the data collected in the interview and the survey to have a broad vision about the problem studied. The method to be applied was hypothetical-deductive, consisting of a procedure that starts with formulating the hypothesis design of marketing strategies that positively influences the quality of service, corporate image and customer satisfaction of the trader EP PETROECUADOR; so the study seeks to check or reject the hypothesis, deducting in this way the conclusions that must be confronted with: the facts also descriptive exploratory type: then described the problem of research from the state of the art, making known the most relevant, In addition, customers and final consumers of fuels are identified. It is concluded that the company EP PETROECUADOR is positioned in the market being this a strength to attract more customers, however, according to the results of the research must provide services that contribute to their customers to minimize operating costs, technical and administrative so that in this way they improve their profitability. Finally, it is recommended to carry out constant training courses on customer service techniques and digital tools to stay in permanent contact with each one of EP PETROECUADOR's clients and give them a more personalized attention capable of continuously generating satisfied and loyal customers.
