Resumen
The design and implementation of a propulsion system required to move a single-seat vehicle, capable of transporting people who use a wheelchair, it includes the subsystems of: power, lights, accessories and electric motor control, which were sized with the help of design software, simulation and electrical and / or electronic circuits. The development of this technological proposal began with a bibliographic review of information collection, in order to identify the requirements of the users and the technical parameters of the single-seater vehicle such as weight, torque, power, and speed, which allowed the selection of a motor type BRUSHLESS, a set of 48v 20 Ah lithium ion batteries and an electronic system control. Once selected the elements that will be responsible for the propulsion, it continued with the assembly and configuration of these, designing suitable couplings for both the front wheel motor and the suspension on the motor shaft. These couplings were subjected to critical loads in a software simulation, where efforts were obtained below the elastic limit, concluding that the deformation is negligible, with a safety factor that guarantees the integrity of the user even in extreme cases based on weight and load applied in case of impact. Additionally, the control and power system was included, which allows the digital control of the propulsion system, lights and accessories for night use of the single-seat vehicle. The controls of the system and subsystem were implemented and coupled, according to the needs of the users. It is recommended to consider a mapping of routes in order to choose the most suitable for the mobilization of the single-seat vehicle, making the transfer of the user more efficient and safe.
