Resumen
The present research work proposes: designing a safeguard plan of the intangible cultural heritage, in the main parish of Mocha canton from Tungurahua province; aiming to promote a higher level of awareness and interest in the intangible cultural heritage either in children, youngsters and adults. To do this, the work began with the analysis of the six territorial areas proposed by the National Secretariat of Planning and Development to determine the current situation of the parish, after which the registration of the intangible cultural heritage was carried out, identifying 26 manifestations, the evaluation of the state of the manifestations to know if these are current, vulnerable, or current in the collective memory. The SWOT analysis was also carried out, critical nodes were identified, key success factors, strategic objectives and strategies, to finally establish 2 programs and 5 projects that seek the collective participation of the parish, and are oriented to protect and transmit the cultural heritage immaterial. It is concluded that the Main parish of the Mocha canton has a great wealth of intangible heritage, so the design of the plan is to provide solutions such as: cultural encounters, scenic performances, training of cultural leaders and recovery of popular games, which tackle the critical knots that are: ignorance on the part of people of the ICP, lack of interest, limited cultural activity, loss of oral traditions and lack of development plans, increasing the key factors of success in the Main parish of the Mocha canton.
