Resumen
In the current market there is no machine capable of profiling metal sheets with thicknesses of 2.8mm, for which it is necessary to resort to its design based on previous designs. The present work focuses on the design, validation and computer-aided manufacturing of a machine for corrugated and galvanized sheet cutting. This study was carried out using an applied methodology, so it began by determining the best manufacturing process for corrugated, then each element was designed using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software with the selection of the respective material, later they were analyzed in Method software of the finite element (MEF), in order to carry out the resistance tests and as a consequence of this validate them, finally by means of software Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). The manufacturing simulation was carried out, being ready to be brought to reality through a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) lathe, this machine is very useful since it is necessary to build silos to store grains. This type of study is recommended to be carried out in a single software specialized in metal profiling, which contains the data packages CAD, CAM, Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), including the selection of materials, since it is tedious to carry out the analyzes in independent software.
