Resumen
The purpose of this work was to implement a test bench to generate micro hydraulic energy for
the Turbo machinery laboratory of the Faculty of Mechanics at ESPOCH, with the goal of
studying the parameters necessary for this type of electricity generation on a micro scale. In this
way, contribute to the development of epistemic and practical learning for students. For this, the design of the water conduction system was carried out, selection and acquisition of components
for subsequent construction and assembly. The main component to generate energy was a hydraulic micro generator. Once the implementation phase was completed, the state of bench functioning was determined to evaluate the operating parameters and compare them with the limitations established by the manufacturers of the components that make up the test bench, as
well as a visual check of fluid leaks and status of each component. Once all the stages that involve the design, implementation and performance tests were completed, the decisive tests were carried
out to find the operating curves. Additionally, the contribution of bibliographic research and the
practical and theoretical knowledge acquired were tools that allowed to develop a test bench that permitted the development of laboratory practices in a safe, efficient, and quality way. For that, a laboratory guide and an equipment maintenance guide were created. It is recommended to install a data acquisition system and a system that allows observing and analyzing the behavior of the fluid visually inside the microgenerator and other types of microgenerators.
