dc.description.abstractThe objective of this entrepreneurial work is to develop a project for the creation of a micro-enterprise for the manufacture and commercialization of sportswear in the city of Riobamba for young people and adults between the age of 15 to 44 years, offering various designs, quality and efficient service to the population. Several studies were used for the methodology, the main one being the market study through the application of random surveys to 383 people. According to the information obtained, 90% of the population was predisposed to consume the product in a micro-enterprise, 84% considered acquiring the product of national manufacture, thus obtaining the potential demand. While 50% of those surveyed prefer cotton fabric and 30% in Lycra fabric, in terms of the finish, they chose sublimated. Thus, having an offer of 1106 garments per year. For the operation of the enterprise, it was determined under the artisan figure since it has tax advantages and in the economic-financial study it showed favorable values, for the sustainability of the enterprise; Net Present Value (NPV) of $ 27,670.74 and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) with 23%. The investment recovery period will be in 5 years, which will allow to replace and innovate technologies or tools that are part of the product offer. In conclusion, the market study analyzed the unsatisfied demand which is to be covered through this enterprise, which must be subject to constant changes in their likes and preferences influenced by fashion, health issues and lifestyles.
