Resumen
The current research work had as its objective the electronic system prototype implementation of a multimodal control for the oversight and monitoring in real time of persons deprived of liberty. In order to determine the elements used, the comparative systematic was used, evaluating the functionality, low cost, reliability and its reach. The device uses global positioning system (GPS) as a base for the monitoring and location. For the data transmission, the general package radio service (GPRS) was used; which by global system for mobile communication (GSM), enables the sending of collected information towards the cloud. The values obtained are processed and stored in a database linked to the website in charge on visualizing each parameter of the shackle, being able to determine the limited area and that each one of emitted data by the sensor is found within the normal values. From test, it was obtained that the information is sent each 2.3 minutes to the website and that the coverage is directly related to the mobile network operator which it work with. It was determined that the prototype presents an accuracy in its positioning of around two meters in comparison to the real location. The available devices currently do not offer in depth information about its functioning nor of the constitutive elements of the same, however, it has not been incorporated pulse or temperature sensors yet; which allow to verify if the person is wearing the device. It is concluded that the prototype is functional and it will serve as a precautionary measure. It is recommended to carry out studies that allow reducing the size and improving the sending time of data toward the network.
