Resumen
A smart electronic prototype to measure the electric consumption by acquisition modules and voltage processing, current, power and electric energy (APVCP&E) has been developed. It can detect no-technical loss when the electrical energy is being stolen in the supply connections. The prototype was implemented with an Arduino processor MEGA 2560 and a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which let us see voltage information, RMS (Root-mean-square) current, active power and the value to be paid by energy consumption. The last element is to encourage user to save energy. The smart meter offers bidirectional communication by internet between provider enterprise and the meter, supplies information in real time of the consumption and if it is legal. In a distant way, the enterprise can connect and disconnect the service by a controlling software. As a result, we concluded that the system can measure real RMS values of voltage with an error of ±0.1 V and errors in current of ±0.3 A, with a sensitivity for AC (alternating current) insignific the prototype can detect to variable distance measures. It is a correct detection of no t recommend to desig ant currents. It is determined that s up to 30m without alteration in the echnic losses by energy theft. We n a web page to manage on a data basis the information rototype in order to evaluate the historical consumption of the client and give immediate replies to the problem.
