This research is a case study on the application of the Curriculum of the Bilingual Intercultural Education System in the Aquiles Pérez Tamayo Educational Unit of the Cangahua parish, Cayambe canton, in order to identify its impact on children, based on the implementation and application of curricular improvements in said institution, in turn, recognize the different processes of change experienced to promote educational quality, maintain respect for their rights of equity and educational-social inclusion, and their cultural identity.
The research allows to have a clear conception of the way in which each of the educational processes is executed, such as: Semiotic Processes, Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor Strengthening together with the Development of Study Skills and Techniques at the Aquiles Pérez Tamayo institution.
The study was qualitative, with the application of interviews to the teachers, who provided information on the application of the curriculum in the institution and the documentary analysis that facilitated the conceptualization and support of the information collected. The main findings of the research show that in the educational processes in the Aquiles Pérez Tamayo Educational Unit it occurs in the middle of the experiences of the students, their real environment and the worldview of their people.
