Abstract

The document is to evaluate characteristics of growth and mortality in two lines of broilers Cobb 500 and Ross 308 at high altitude in one day old until seven weeks old, the variables were studied: daily weight gain, feed conversion ratio, mortality and cost-benefit analysis between the two poultry lines investigated, with the approach of recommending the producer the genetic line that best demonstrate productive potential in altitudinal conditions studied.
